Good Morning Zinnia, Do you know, I wore similar dresses as a little girl in the 1950's and I wore a bow in my hair, but not to the side, it was placed on the top of my head and it was called a palm tree. Not really an attractive style, but my mum, Phyllis, tells me it was very popular at the time.
I have enjoyed reading your blog and I have become a new follower.
I have a few items which I have written about which might interest you, so if you have the time, I would like to invite you over for a visit.
Have a lovely day.
Best Wishes
Daphne
